The entire Jr. High wrestling team.

The Oakwood Junior High Wrestling Team won second place at the Valley View Tournament this past Saturday.  This was a big win for a Oakwood considering many of the kids are first time wrestlers.

Place winners for Oakwood included seventh graders...Dalton Pierce (80 lbs) second place, Ryan Burke (86 lbs) second place, Mason Kooser (92 lbs) fourth place, Bo Powell (122 lbs) second place, and Rocco Baker (142 lbs) second place.  

Eighth grade Captains brought home big wins as well.  Captain Jacob Hootman (128 lbs) won first place.  Captain Alex Marquee (160 lbs) won second place.  Captain Sam Stanley (205 lbs) won first place. Dan Stoeckline (245 lbs) wrestled up a few weight classes and won third place.
