On Saturday and Sunday, the Oakwood High School Swimming and Diving team participated in the Southwest Ohio Swimming and Diving Classic, the largest swimming and diving meet in the country. On both Saturday and Sunday nights, Chase Doman, David Ireland, Daniel Schmitz, and Brent Turner qualified to the final championships at Keating Natatorium in Cincinnati.
On Saturday, the 400 Medley Relay team and the 200 Freestyle Relay team of Doman, Ireland, Schmitz, and Turner qualified to the finals. In the 200 Freestyle Relay, the Jacks placed 13th with a time of 1:33.17.

Also on Saturday, David Ireland competed in the 400 Individual Medley, placing 19th with a time of 4:31.39 and placed 11th in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2.19.50. Daniel Schmitz competed in the 500 Freestyle, placing 20th with a time of 5:01.48. Chase Doman placed 13th in the 100 backstroke with a time of 56.56.
On Sunday, the 200 Medley Relay team and the 400 Freestyle Relay team of Doman, Ireland, Schmitz, and Turner qualified to the finals. In the 200 Medley Relay, the Jacks placed 14th with a time of 1:46.19. In the 400 Freestyle Relay, the Jacks placed 12th with a time of 3:22.31.
