Oakwood swimmers excel at “AA” Championships

On March 10-12, the Southwest Cluster YMCA “AA” Championships were held at Miami University.  Oakwood had 24 swimmers in attendance to help the Kettering Y swim team to a 5th place finish out of 21 teams.  This was the final AA championships for Rachel Wilhoit, who is a senior this year and will have to cheer on her two younger sisters from college next year.

Jills basketball camp June 15

The annual Oakwood Jills Basketball Camp will be held Monday, June 12 thru Thursday, June 15.  There will be two sessions:  Session 1 will be for those girls entering grades 3-5 in the fall of 2006 from 9-11.  Session 2 will be for those girls entering grades 6-8 in the fall of 2006 from 12:00-2:00.  Camp registration forms can be picked up at Harman, Smith School, or the high school athletic office.  Registration deadline is May 31st.
